Melvin O. Shaw
Melvin O. Shaw is a sole practitioner in The Law Office of Melvin O. Shaw, P.L.C., where he practices in the areas of real estate, estate planning, probate, and business law. Melvin is a graduate of the University of Iowa College of Law, is a member of the American and The Iowa State and Johnson County Bar Associations (Probate, Real Estate, and Business Law Sections). He is a committee member of the Young Lawyers Division of the state bar, member of the Dean Mason Ladd American Inn of Court, and he presents regularly on topics in probate. Melvin is a Steward at Bethel A.M.E. Church—Iowa City, serves as co-chair of the Bethel A.M.E. Expansion and Renovation Project, is 2008 graduate of the Community Leadership Program (Iowa City Chamber of Commerce) and serves on the Comprehensive School Improvement Plan Advisory Committee (Iowa City Community School District). He trains in Tae Kwon Do and enjoys do-it-yourself projects.
